Ram Sukumar
Co-Founder & Executive Director, Client Relationships

Ram Sukumar co-founded Indium and served as its Chief Technology Officer until recently.

In his new role, Ram spends a significant portion of his time with customers – presenting what Indium does well, understanding customer needs and matching the company’s service offering to better serve the customer.

In his previous role as Chief Technology Officer, Ram was responsible for Pre-Sales, Technology Innovation, IP creation and overall solution delivery. He has helped champion adoption of Open source tools, development of key-word driven automation framework and application level performance diagnostics. He has worked for global companies such as National Semiconductor and Simplex Grinnell. He has several years of core expertise in functional testing, performance testing and test automation.

He holds a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA and a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences (BITS), Pilani.

Vijay Balaji
Co-Founder & Executive Director, Operations

Vijay Balaji co-founded Indium and served as its Chief Operating Officer until recently.

In his new role, Vijay is responsible for Indium’s fiscal function and performance, treasury management and operations.

In his previous role as Chief Operating Officer, Vijay was responsible for sales, marketing and business development in North America including executing Sales & Marketing Strategies, managing & forging Customer Relationships and Strategic Alliances.

Prior to founding Indium, he was a key member of the Risk Control group at TeleCheck, Inc.( a wholly owned subsidiary of First Data Corporation). He is an active member of the SD Forum, TiE Silicon Valley and Round Table (a social organization focused on serving the larger needs of the community with special emphasis on Educating Children throughout India).

He holds a Master’s in Business Administration with emphasis on Marketing & Finance, from Rice University, Houston, USA and a Bachelor's in Commerce from Loyola College, Chennai, India.

Ramesh Krishnamurthy
Chief Technology Officer

Ramesh is responsible for Indium’s solutions delivery and technology initiatives.

Ramesh has nearly 20 years of experience in the Information technology industry in both entrepreneurial and senior management roles. He is a thought leader in the Software Testing vertical having spent the past decade managing operations and delivery for customers across the globe spanning Software Quality Assurance & Testing services. He is a proven developer of people, having delivered Software Quality training programs to numerous individuals and customers, and brings to Indium the ability to ensure the availability of high quality talent.

Ramesh's previous stint was with Lister Technologies as Vice President of the Software Testing Practice. Prior to Lister, he was Executive Director, Amitysoft Technologies one of the pioneers in the Indian software testing industry.

Ramesh is a certified Project Management Professional from PMI and Certified Quality Analyst. He has attended several Executive management programs at IIM Bangalore.  He holds a Bachelors degree in Applied Science and is a University rank holder in Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science & Applications from Nagpur University, India.

Sampath V. Kumar
VP – Global Field Operations

Sampath is responsible for client service delivery & business development in North America.

Sampath has over 12 years of management consulting, corporate management, service delivery, sales, marketing and leadership experience. Prior to joining Indium, he was the Founder / CEO of SalesQB, a boutique provider of sales & marketing support services to mid-market high-tech companies. Prior to SalesQB, Sampath was the Founder / CEO of Valuegy, a high-end management consulting company serving Telecom clients in the US. Before starting Valuegy, Sampath held leadership positions in PricewaterhouseCoopers & IBM, where he sold, led & delivered numerous management consulting engagements with Global 2000 companies. Sampath is a Fellow of the Wharton Business School and holds a MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Temple University and a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
