Engagement

The first step in the engagement process is to understand the customer's requirements. Then depending on the type of engagement i.e. Opensource development, Mobile Application development, Testing or User Experience monitoring, a process is adopted to ensure the customer's expectations are met. In addition the customer is provided with regular project status updates weekly or bi-weekly. The team also signs NDAs with the customer to ensure confidentiality is protected.

Recruitment & HR

Talent is sourced from top-rated credible/reliable sources. Sound educational background and relevant work experience are mandatory.

Recruitment is elaborate and intense to select the best and most committed candidates. A six-stage iterative process that starts with a preliminary scrutiny, is followed by a technical assessment and culminates with a background and reference check. Lot of emphasis is placed on employee motivation through job rotation, project assignments, and performance recognition in order to ensure a low attrition rate.

Training

The Indium Practice School implements Indium's belief in continual skill building. Practice Schools I and II have been set up to develop the skills of entry level and experienced software engineers respectively. Candidates are put through a rigorous training curriculum. Every candidate is subjected to a detailed evaluation before being deployed on projects.

Delivery

Based on IEEE standards and CMM Level 5 standards, Indium’s delivery process meets objectives through a structured approach that emphasizes increased software usability, software performance, test coverage and maintainability. Our delivery procedure starts from customer expectations, progress to planning and development, after which tests are executed. A lot of emphasis is placed on establishing a good engagement process between Indium's team and customer's team.
